Who we are

ArcelorMittal Gonvarri SSC Slovakia, s.r.o. is a leader in steel and aluminum processing in the region. We deliver innovative solutions and set high standards for product quality for our customers.

As a fully-fledgedsteel service centrum (SSC) with foreign ownership, we have been operating within the ArcelorMittal SSC network since 2006, where we optimize investments, streamline operations, and support the development of European clientele. Our strategic location in the heart of Europe also ensures direct representation of the Spanish company Gonvarri in this region and complements the activities of its service centers in Germany and Poland.

Subsidiary company Gonvauto Nitra

100% subsidiary of AMG Senica and is a joint venture between ArcelorMittal 50% and Gonvarri 50%. Gonvauto Nitra is the commercial name of the companyArcelorMittal Gonvarri Nitra, s.r.o.

The company operates in the automotive industry, where 100% of its customers are car manufacturers and their suppliers. The materials used are steel and aluminum, with Slovakia as the main market. The production facility covers an area of 105,000 m², of which 10,000 m² is built-up area and production space. The company employs up to 20 people. The technological equipment consists of 1 hybrid line BLK and automated warehouse. The line allows for transverse and trapezoidal cutting

    In 2013, we obtained the prestigious <strong>”Safe Enterprise”</strong> certificate awarded by the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic, which is proof of our systematic approach to safety and reliability in this area.

  • Inovation

    rom maintenance to production to internal processes, digitization at ArcelorMittal Gonvarri brings greater efficiency, reliability, and control. Digital maintenance systems enable fault tracking, repair planning, and spare parts management. In production, performance parameters, downtime, and quality are monitored in real time, enabling better decision-making. Internal processes, such as order approval and human resources, have been modernized, making them faster and more transparent.

    As part of the robotization and automation of processes, we have implemented the following at ArcelorMittal Gonvarri:

    • robotic arms on longitudinal lines that ensure the alignment of knives,
    • whereby this activity is fully digitized and automated
    • automatic separators in longitudinal lines
    • automated thickness and width gauges in longitudinal lines
    • presses with special robots that place blanks on pallets according to customer requirements
    • new ERP and CRM system
