ArcelorMittal Gonvarri SSC Slovakia, s.r.o. may process the following categories of your personal data:

- Data related to your habits and preferences: data related to your interest in our products and services and their use
Data from our mutual communication: data obtained through our websites, applications, social media, meetings, telephone calls, chats, emails, and interviews (“personal data”)
Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data
ArcelorMittal Gonvarri may process your personal data for the following purposes:
analysis of your preferences for marketing activities that may be of interest to you and for marketing activities related to services provided by ArcelorMittal Gonvarri SSC Slovakia, s.r.o., in particular for offering products or services that correspond to your needs
receiving and reviewing your complaints regarding the activities of ArcelorMittal Gonvarri SSC Slovakia, s.r.o. and responding to them
fulfillment of obligations imposed on the data controller by generally binding legal regulations, in particular the Act on Capital Market Undertakings and the Act on Certain Measures against the Legalization of Proceeds of Criminal Activity and Terrorist Financing
ensuring IT management, including infrastructure management (for example shared platforms), business continuity, and IT security
Your personal data will be processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(a), (b), (c), and/or (f) of the GDPR. We will not process personal data for purposes that are incompatible with the purposes described above, unless such processing is required by law or ArcelorMittal Gonvarri is otherwise entitled to process such data.
Sharing of Personal Data
For the purposes set out in this document and below, ArcelorMittal Gonvarri may provide your personal data to the following third parties:
entities and authorities to whom we are obliged or authorized to provide personal data in order to achieve the above purposes and fulfill legal obligations. This primarily includes supervisory authorities, courts, and public authorities (for example tax authorities and law enforcement authorities), independent external advisors (for example auditors), service providers, and third parties. This also applies to entities and authorities authorized under generally binding legal regulations to obtain personal data from ArcelorMittal Gonvarri or request access to such data
Transfer of Personal Data to Third Countries
When transferring personal data from the European Economic Area (“EEA”) to the United States or another third country where the level of personal data protection is not considered adequate by the European Commission, we use standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and other appropriate safeguards as required or permitted under Articles 46 and 49 of the GDPR.
Retention Period of Personal Data
ArcelorMittal Gonvarri SSC Slovakia, s.r.o. will retain personal data for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes set out in Section 3 of this information, for purposes related to generally binding legal regulations, and for the protection of the rights of ArcelorMittal Gonvarri SSC Slovakia, s.r.o.
In accordance with the Act on Certain Measures against the Legalization of Proceeds of Criminal Activity and Terrorist Financing, we retain your identification and contact details and data and documents related to your transactions (financial and transaction data) for 10 years from the execution of a transaction outside a business relationship or from the termination of a business relationship.
In accordance with the Act on Capital Market Undertakings, we retain records and documents related to investment services (in particular data from our mutual communication, including electronic communication and recordings of telephone calls) for 7 years.
If ArcelorMittal Gonvarri SSC Slovakia, s.r.o. processes your personal data for marketing activities, we retain such data for the duration of the contractual relationship between us, that is, for as long as you are our client.
Rights of Data Subjects
In connection with the protection of personal data, and depending on the reason for processing your personal data, you have the following rights:
- Right of access to your personal data: data subjects have the right to obtain confirmation from ArcelorMittal Gonvarri SSC Slovakia, s.r.o. as to whether personal data concerning them are being processed and, if so, to obtain access to such data. Upon request, ArcelorMittal Gonvarri SSC Slovakia, s.r.o. will provide you with a copy of the processed personal data. A reasonable fee corresponding to administrative costs may be charged for additional copies
- Right to rectification: you have the right to have inaccurate personal data corrected. Depending on the purpose of processing, you also have the right to have incomplete personal data completed, including by means of a supplementary statement
- Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”): you have the right to request the erasure of your personal data if the statutory conditions are met, and ArcelorMittal Gonvarri SSC Slovakia, s.r.o. is obliged to erase such data without undue delay
- Right to restriction of processing: in such a case, ArcelorMittal Gonvarri SSC Slovakia, s.r.o. will indicate, at your request, that such data may only be processed for specified purposes
- Right to data portability: under certain circumstances, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine readable format and to transmit such data to another controller without hindrance from ArcelorMittal Gonvarri SSC Slovakia, s.r.o.
- Right to object to further processing: under certain circumstances, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation, and ArcelorMittal Gonvarri SSC Slovakia, s.r.o. may be required to cease processing
- Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority if the processing of personal data violates the GDPR
Sources of Personal Data
Your personal data may originate from:
- you or your statutory representative or authorized representative (if you have provided us with a power of attorney)
- the business entity of which you are a representative or beneficial owner
- a contracting party to an agreement concluded with ArcelorMittal Gonvarri SSC Slovakia, s.r.o. and/or
- publicly available sources, in particular various databases and registers
Requirement to Provide Personal Data
ArcelorMittal Gonvarri SSC Slovakia, s.r.o. requires your personal data in order to provide you with its services or to fulfill the obligations specified in Section 3 of this document.

We would like to inform you that ArcelorMittal Gonvarri SSC Slovakia, s.r.o. may regularly update this documentation in accordance with applicable laws (for example when implementing new systems or processes related to the use of personal data).
